Owl & The Pussy Cat

The Owl and The Pussycat

Designed and stitched by the creative Machine Embroidery Group, Norwich, for the children of Barlow Hall Primary

The children and staff would like to say thanks to Ms Ford’s Mum, Sheila and her students for giving us a beautiful present. Sheila teaches sewing and other crafts and she decided to give us a gorgeous ‘The Owl & the Pussycat’ themed applique wall hanging to display in our Nursery. The decorative wall hanging has the words to Edward Lear’s famous nonsense rhyme and fabric panels which interpret each part of the verse with lovely pictures created using lots of different materials. The children were fascinated by this lovely decorative item. This picture doesn’t really do it justice so come and have a look !

A Big Thank-You To Porsha’s Mum & Dad

May14

Thanks to Porsha’s Mum and Dad for donating the car wheel trims for one of our future projects to develop the outdoor area. Mrs Lavelle has seen pictures of hub caps turned into flowers and in the future we hope to create some interesting art works to decorate the EYFS playground.  Watch this space !!hubcap flowers
